Learning a language is like the life of a plant. It’s something to be cared for and regularly watered with practice. However, correcting mistakes (like weeds) is important in the process, to avoid taking root and becoming habit. During the weekly Mindful English event on Tuesdays, there will be guided conversation, incorporating new vocabulary with regular practice and tools for greater awareness to discover the rooted mistakes you have. As this is a place where language learning and personal development meet, I will incorporate meditation and conversation related to personal growth as part of the language learning process. These steps in the learning process will bring you faster, and with a stronger foundation, to the next level of your English.
Mindful English is suitable for levels A2 and higher but targets levels B1 and higher. Unlike traditional conversation tables, these weekly events are highly structured giving you a place to not only relax so you can better retain what you learn, but also meet like-minded people, expand your vocabulary (with emphasis on phrasal verbs) and discover things about yourself at the same time!

I went today for the first time to a Meghan's guided conversation table, and it was great. Her method is very efficient. Time goes by in a very pleasant way. She corrects these mistakes you always make because they are, as she says, "rooted" or "fossilized" in your mind. She corrects those mistakes as you make them, so that you are aware of them and can write them off from your memory. You also learn new words and expressions (including the dreaded phrasal verbs) for everyday use, so that you feel and sound more natural when you speak.
